Research-Informed Storytelling

Katha Page's design is informed by widely accepted principles of child development and storytelling. While Katha Page is not a medical or therapeutic product, these principles guide how we create stories that are predictable, engaging, and accessible for more children.

Our Design Principles

Predictable Story Structure

Children often learn best when stories follow a clear beginning, middle, and ending. Predictable storytelling can help reduce uncertainty while improving understanding.

Everyday Social Learning

Many children benefit from practicing everyday situations before they happen. Stories about routines, friendships, school, community outings, emotions, and communication help children prepare for real-life experiences.

Emotional Language

We use simple, concrete emotional language that helps children recognize feelings without relying on abstract explanations.

Inclusive Storytelling

Children communicate, learn, and experience the world differently. Our stories are designed to support a wide range of communication styles and developmental needs.

Sleep-Friendly Storytelling

Our bedtime stories gradually become calmer through pacing, narration, and gentle language to support relaxing bedtime routines.
